ALLIANCE DOTA 2 WELCOMES NEW ROSTER
Gothenburg, Sweden – October 3rd 2019 – Hi Fam, it’s been an interesting couple of weeks for us all, and we want to thank you for sticking with us. Today we are proud to announce our new Dota 2 roster. It’s hard to find the right words on how to explain how excited and hopeful we are for the future.
This season our goal is not only to make it to The International in Stockholm, but to win it all on our home soil. With this experienced team, we feel confident about the journey we will take together, to reach that goal. Please give them a very warm welcome into the Alliance legacy, and the Alliance family.
“I am looking forward to represent Alliance in the upcoming season” team captain Fata says. “Transitioning to position 5 as well as captaining the team is a definitely new chapter for me, and I’m very excited to see how it will go. As a team, we will practice hard to perform this season and bring positive results to all of our fans – new and old.”
“Alliance has been a big inspiration for me ever since the TI3 era. Last year I was really close to signing with them but it didn’t work out in the end. It actually motivated me even harder and I was very hungry to prove myself as a player. I got the chance to play for Mineski at TI and I learned a lot, especially from Mushi.
After a successful summer in SEA I wanted to continue my career back in Europe, and started playing with Fata and 33. Shortly after, we got contacted by Loda to represent Alliance, and I felt that it became a full circle. Our goal is nothing else but to win TI10 with Alliance, we will do our best to make the fans proud,”Nikobaby
The new squad will be captained by veteran Fata, and will start their new chapter together this weekend. They will participate in the Closed Qualifiers for the MDL Chengdu Major on October 5th.
“The day it was clear I had to look around for a new DotA 2 squad for Alliance, it was obvious to me that I should contact Nikobaby. When I found out that he had been in talks with Fata, 33, Handsken and Limmp about making a team together, I was intrigued.
Fata needs no real introduction: He is a veteran player with tons of experience and a very sharp mind. He is a natural born leader and a hard worker. 33 is a player I respect a lot. He is a calm guy with a unique playstyle. Handsken and Limmp are both players that have played with Alliance before. Both are players that have improved immensely since their time with us, but more than that I know that they are tired of being at the sideline. I’m happy and proud to be able to play a part in these two players reunion.” – CEO Jonathan “Loda” Berg concludes, “A new chapter of Alliance Dota 2 begins today. It won’t be easy, but we are no strangers to hard work. Finally I just want to thank all of you out there that make this possible. We’ll see you at TI10 ?”
