Gothenburg, Sweden, 14th May 2025 — Alliance is proud to announce our return to the FGC with the addition of two elite competitors: Malik Ash, a rising star in Tekken 8 from Pakistan, and 2EZ, a multi-game veteran from Venezuela and USA, now representing us in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Malik Ash | Tekken 8
Hailing from Pakistan’s prestigious Tekken 8 scene, Malik Ash has been steadily building his reputation with strong performances in regional tournaments. Known for his technical mastery of characters like Leo and his calculated, pressure-heavy playstyle, Malik Ash is set to make an international impact as he joins Alliance for the 2025 competitive season.
“I’m extremely proud to be part of Alliance. Representing Pakistan and competing with a global organisation is a huge honor. I’m ready to show what I can do in Tekken 8 and bring more trophies home for my country and my new club I now call home” shares Ijaz “Malik Ash” Ali.
2EZ | Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
A seasoned competitor across multiple franchises, 2EZ has made his mark in Mortal Kombat and has a competitive history spanning titles like Injustice, Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Street Fighter. He now steps into Fatal Fury: COTW and Riot’s 2XKO with Alliance. His versatile skill set and international experience position him as a serious contender in both legacy and next-gen fighting games.
“Joining Alliance is a significant milestone in my career. I’ve always been a fan of Alliance and how they treat their players. With my roots in Mortal Kombat, multi-game competition, and now stepping into Fatal Fury and 2XKO, I’m excited to keep pushing my limits and represent the org at the highest level.” AJ “2EZ” Pieri declares.
[A] legacy built on greatness, renewed
Alliance’s history in fighting games is defined by legends. Adam “Armada” Lindgren, widely regarded as one of the Greatest Of All Time in Smash, forged his legacy with Alliance as one of the Five Gods of Melee, earning his place in the Esports Hall of Fame and bringing home countless trophies under the Alliance banner.
With Armada’s legendary achievements as our foundation, we now look to the future by welcoming Malik Ash and 2EZ – two competitors who embody the same spirit of excellence, grit and passion that built our name in the FGC.
Their arrival marks not just a return but a new chapter in Alliance’s FGC journey, as we aim to inspire the next generation and once again climb to the pinnacle of fighting games.
“We have been scouting for our new FG players for over 2 years now. Both Malik Ash and 2EZ bring unique strengths and stories to Alliance. We’re excited to support their growth and showcase their talents to our ALLfam worldwide” Kelly Ong, CSO and Co-owner of Alliance expresses.
With the addition of 2 new titles, our active Esports this year are now: Apex Legends, Chess, CS2, Fatal Fury: COTW, Marvel Snap, Naraka Bladepoint, PUBG Mobile, Tekken 8.
