“Some of you who watched the Quake Championships qualifier on Sunday night may have been surprised to see a certain [A] tag – Quake Championships is looking to be one of the most exciting tournaments coming up this summer apart from other prestigious summer tournaments.

We at the Alliance family are big Quake fans, with most of us growing up spectating the games especially during the old CPL and ESWC days. I still remember watching and playing Quake almost 10 years ago. One of the players I really looked up to was Spart1e, so I am really happy to announce him as part of our new Alliance Quake squad. Joining him will be veteran players Strenx and Syndrom, along with an upcoming new blood Busdriverx.

The team truly represents Alliance as a brand – a good mix of veterans and new blood to keep the gaming scene going. Our values have always been not only to win, but to groom new talents to add to the scene for all our squads.

All of us at Alliance are also very excited about the new Quake squad beating Team Envico, and making Regional finals for the $1,000,000 Quake World Championships.

With their eyes on QuakeCon and already spending a lot of time together scrimming, we wish them all the best for the upcoming Duels qualifiers.” – Jonathan “Loda” Berg
