Alliance announce new Dota 2 roster

Alliance have put together a team that is hungry, motivated and ready to show why Alliance is a household name. Last season ended on a bad note when Alliance was relegated to Division 2. The entire organization is eagerly looking forward to the new season to prove that the team belongs in the elite division. Without further ado let us present the new Alliance Dota 2 squad.

First out the gate we have someone who needs no further introduction, Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov from Bulgaria. Being the player who has been the longest with Alliance, “Nikobaby” brings experience, calm and expertise to the roster. “Nikobaby” as the team’s carry will help organize and lead the squad like a single unit and will be at the forefront, making quick, important decisions.

Next up we have Aliwi “w33” Omar from Romania. As a two time TI finalist and Major winner he brings more than just his exceptional player ability and next level draft options, but also the mentality of someone who has competed in the highest tiers of Dota matches! “w33” will join our ranks right after GamersGalaxy where he will participate as a standin for Nigma Galaxy SEA.

Moving on with Moiez “Symetrical” Lin from the United Kingdom. “Symetrical” will take on the role as offlaner, maining heros like “Lycan” and “Timbersaw”. Having achievements such as winning ESL Premiership 2020 Spring and ESL Premiership 2020 Autumn right after eachother shows he is a force to be reckoned with. He most recently played as a part of “Into The Breach”.

Coming up next is no other than Adam “Aramis” Moroz from Israel. “Aramis” joined Alliance last season from the team “” with victories such as the EPIC League Season 3 Division 1 behind him. “Aramis” showed last season that he has what it takes as a top tier support, and he will help stabilize the team and make the climb possible.

The last piece of this squad puzzle is Nikolay “CTOMAHEH1” Kalchev from Bulgaria. Transferring from “Brame”, “CTOMAHEH1” is a player with a lot of experience in the Dota 2 scene. He will be transitioning into the position 5 role for the team and has already proven in a short span of time what we can expect going forward with some fantastic plays! A real asset to the team to say the least.

Jonathan “Loda” Berg had the following to say on the new roster:
“The heart of the project is still what we wanted to do at the start of the year, to build a young team the right way from the start. I know the first part of the season was a disappointment, but we have turned it into a good experience by better learning what kind of players and personalities we need.

This time I will be with them every step of the way and as it will most likely be the last direct involvement in Dota2 of my career, I’ll make sure it ends well.

That being said, I’m still asking you to be patient. The squad still needs some time to get into shape but I’m very thankful that we got the chance to participate in D2CL to get our noses bloodied before the DPC season resumes.”

Don’t forget to follow the players on their socials to show them a true #ALLfam welcome:
