Akku Completes the Alliance Apex Roster

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN, 2nd March 2026 — The search for our third is over. Today, we’re officially welcoming Jan “akku” Schneeberger to the Alliance Apex Legends roster.

Following an intensive trial period, we’re excited to move past the speculation and welcome Jan to the ALLfam. He’s spent the past week at our HQ in Gothenburg linking up with Hakis and getting settled into the Alliance colors.

Replacing a player in a historic team is never just about finding someone who can click heads, it’s about finding a personality that fits the Alliance culture. Akku has been on many scouts’ radar for a long time, known not just for his raw mechanical skill in game, but also for his poise when the lobby gets chaotic.

Finding a new 3rd for this team wasn’t a decision we wanted to rush,” says Pontus Bengtsson, General Manager at Alliance. “We needed someone who could match our skill in game but also stay calm when things can get messy as they do in BRs. Getting to spend some time with Akku here at HQ last week and seeing how he clicks with the staff and the team, it’s clear we made the right choice. The energy is high, and we’re ready to get back to work.”

For the ALLfam, akku represents a fresh chapter. While he’s one of the younger faces in the scene, his time with MOUZ and Gaimin Gladiators has already proven he can hang with the best in the world.

Between photo shoots and ranked streams at the HQ, akku shared his thoughts:
“Coming to Gothenburg and seeing the history on the walls here makes it real. Alliance isn’t just another org, it’s a team that expects to win. I’ve watched Hakis and the boys for a long time, and now being part of that duo is a huge opportunity. I’m here to grind, I’m here to win, and I’m here to stay.”

The new squad will start their first official ranked and scrims this week. You can catch their debut live on twitch.tv/team/alliance and in the upcoming ALGS Pro League Split.
